Jacopo Zucchi (Florence circa 1540-1596) A sheet of figure studies: A man and woman dancing, two elegant ladies, and two men carrying baskets on their shoulders with inscription 'A. Carache' and with number '50' red chalk, pen and brown ink 7¼ x 10 7/8 in. (18.2 x 27.8 cm.)

J. Richardson, Sen. (L. 2184), his mount, with indistinct shelfmark (on the verso). Heneage Finch, 5th Earl of Aylesford (L. 58); possibly Christie's, London, 17-18 July 1893, part of lot 230 ('Various sketches by the Carracci', sold for 5s to Murray). Probably purchased by the mother of the present owner in Paris in the early 20th Century.
