Prof. Sumowski compares the present painting to works by the artist from the period after 1650, such as Christ Blessing the Children (unidentified private collection) or Workers in the Vineyard (Budapest) (cf. W. Sumowski, Die Gemälde der Rembrandt-Schüler, vol. IV, Landau 1983, nos. 1854 and 1858).
