A Lady, wearing white dress with short sleeves and gilt sash buckle, a yellow shawl around her shoulders, her fair hair curled and upswept.
Signed on the obverse and dated J. Grant/1809/J.G., unframed; together with a Lady, wearing black dress with short puffed sleeves and trimmed with knots of ribbon, her black hair curled and upswept into an Apollo knot, seated, red drapery background, English School, circa 1830, unframed.
