standing on the sand with waves breaking at her feet as she wrings the water from her wet skirt, a haiku poem inscribed above:

Chirachira to / mieshi ya kai no / nami no hana
'The shells blinking as they catch sight of the flower of the wave'

publisher's mark of Urokogataya Magobei, signed Meijodo Ishikawa Shuha ga with seal Toyonobu

Condition Note: Good impression, rather toned and soiled, laid-down
