The running grain of the wood accentuated and lacquered and inlaid with a crab and shell amid swaying aquatic plants, the reverse with an egret perched on an anchor, signed Ritsuo and sealed kan; with an agate ojime in the form of a crab and an ivory netsuke of a large crab on a closed clam, signed Shukosai Anraku with kakihan
