Oil on canvas scene Spring Time Pink Blossoms by Hungarian artist Imre Nemethi. Hungarian artist Imre Nemehi born 1900-1980 in Puszta near Debrecen, Hungry. Graduated in fine arts from the University in Debrecen and shortly after moved to Budapest to further advance his skills and training. Fifty years as an artist mainly doing landscapes in oil medium. Under Communist rule he was one of very few allowed to travel outside the country to obtain photographs of scenic views. He also was forced to change the spelling of his last name to end from "Y" to an "I". Approx. 17.5" wide by 14.5" tall.
