Born in Sydney in 1937, Seymour Wells trained at the National Art School, Sydney, and travelled extensively through Europe and the Middle East. He lived and worked in India and Nepal, and exhibited at numerous galleries and institutions, including the Royal Academy, the Little Gallery, Graham Bell Gallery and Hobart National Gallery. Examples of his work can be found in collections throughout the world, including New York, Paris, Melbourne, California, London and the Garman-Ryan Collection.
