Description

IAN MCCULLOCH (1935-) (Scottish) 'The Rise and Fall of Rome' a frieze of five mythological scenes to include Dido and Aeneas carrousing in Carthage. Approximately 31' long, made up of four panels (See illustration) Ian McCullach's massive mural was produced for the Italian Centre, near the City Chambers in the heart of Glasgow in 1989. Ian McCullach work has been in a number of major British galleries and private collections and he is currently exhibiting at the Royal Scottish Academy, August-September 2007. **Further information regarding the painting is available in the office.
