Hugh McKenzie, who died aged 82 in 2005, trained at the Slade School of Fine Art under Henry Tonks. His life was dedicated to painting mainly pen and wash and watercolour scenes of the City and South East London where he lived all his life.
Lots 400 through to lot 438B are being sold on behalf of The 999 Club. The Club , www.999club.org, is a registered charity, run by local people, in South East London, caring for homeless, vulnerable and desperate people.
