* Hoyton (Edward Bouverie, 1900-1988). "Afala Cathedral, Sicily", c.1933, pen, ink, and watercolour wash, showing the cathedral with two male sightseers in the foreground, signed on a rock to lower margin, 31 x 43cm (12.25 x 17ins), mounted, framed and glazed. A manuscript note on a label to verso of frame states that the work was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1933, and that it was diploma work for the Royal Society of British Artists in 1936.. (1)
