DESCRIPTION: A pre-Raphaelite style, hand painted porcelain portrait titled:"Fiammetta". Painted in the manner of Jules Joseph Lefebvre (French 1836-1991). Features a rendering of Fiammetta posing to her side, with long flowing red hair garnished with gilded olive branches, wearing elegant clothing and a dimly lit room setting. Titled along the top:"Fiammetta" as well as signed along the bottom right: "Hortense Richard D'Ap. J. Lefebvre". Set in a gilded wood rococo style frame. CIRCA: 19th Ct. ORIGIN: Switzerland DIMENSIONS:(With Frame) H:16.5" L:12.75" (Without Frame) H:10.5" L:6.75" CONDITION: Great condition, a few chips to porcelain along the back edges.
