This portfolio features 15 selected images from Homma's seminal series Tokyo Suburbia (1995-98), including those of deserted housing developments, deadpan portraits of children and a littered parking lot. These photographs capture the artificial and sterile environment of Tokyo suburbs. Living and working in Tokyo, Homma won the prestigious Kimura Ihee Award in 1999 for Tokyo Suburbia.
