Lot 1326: HOGARTH, BURNE FULL PAGE COMIC STRIP

(1912-1996 American) For the series Tarzan, written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, titled "Mortal Tournament", ink drawing on heavy illustrator paper in two sections, signed by artist in bottom center square and dated September 26, 1943, numbered 655. Produced by United Feature Syndicate Inc. and contains their label on the front, total size 28" x 21 1/2".

Overall good for the image, minor paper wrinkling and the remains of old mounting adhesive in the margins on three sides and on the verso. It has not stained the front of the work itself. Very faint light toning of the paper.
