Condition Report

Canvas in overall good condition without tears or patches. With some moderate craquelure throughout. With two heavier lines horizontally across canvas at central stretcher bar. When examined under UV light the surface fluoresces evenly, suggesting perhaps a later varnishing. One small circular area to the lower right quadrant fluoresces a little differently suggesting perhaps an area of inpainting. Frame stable, likely late 19th or early 20th century with some chips and areas of regilting. Exterior measurement of frame : height 44 x width 23 1/2 inches.
