HERBERT ROTH (American, 1887-1953) "MAPPE OF YE MIRAMICHI RIVER". A large watercolor illustration cartoon depicting the Miramichi River and "various doings" the month of May 1932. The cartoon shows a U-shaped river with various depictions of fishermen and guides. Other people and animals are around the river. Inscribed in banner at bottom "To H. T. Webster" and signed in the top central cartouche. Housed in a modern black molded wood frame. Herb Roth is a listed cartoonist and illustrator from Scarsdale, New York. SIZE: 22-1/2" x 29".
