Condition Report

Scattered pinpoint dots of retouch across the sky (perhaps about 30 in all), with a small cluster of dots forming a line about 1 inch long in the u.l. corner, and one slightly larger dot of retouch, 1/8 inch diameter, also in u.l. corner. Canvas deformation to l.l. corner, with a bit of retouch or pigment fluorescence also in that area. There is a suggestion of an expanded inscription in this same area under the retouch, located to the left of the signature and under the words "Mt. Katahdin," which is barely visible under UV, and does not show at all to the naked eye.
