Droit de suite

Facilities to which we add a fee resulting from the so-called droit de suite, i.e. the rights of the creator and his heirs to receive remuneration for professionally re-sold original copies of the works. The objects to which we charge the fee are marked in the catalog with the symbol: l
The above fee is calculated according to the following rates:
• 5% of the auctioned amount, if this part is in the range up to the equivalent of 50,000 euros (e.g. for the amount of 2,000 euros, 100 euros)
• 3% of the auctioned amount, if this part is in the range from the equivalent of 50,000.01 euro to the equivalent of 200,000 euro (eg for the amount of 80,000 euro, 3,400 euro)
• 1% of the auctioned amount, if this part is in the range from the equivalent of 200,000.01 euros to the equivalent of 350,000 euros (e.g. for the amount of 300,000 euros paid, 8,000 euros)
• 0.5% of the auctioned amount, if this part is in the range from the equivalent of 350,000.01 euro to the equivalent of 500,000 euro (e.g. for the amount of 400,000 euro, 8 750 euro) and
• 0.25% of the auctioned amount, if this part is in the range exceeding the equivalent of 500,000 euros - but in the amount not higher than the equivalent of 12,500 euros.

In Poland, droit de suite regulates art. 19-195 of the Act on Copyright and Related Rights of February 4, 1994, as amended, in accordance with the European Union Directive 2001/84 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 September 2001 on the author's right to remuneration title of resale of the original copy of the artwork. The fee will be calculated using the NBP daily rate on the day preceding the auction. The fee will be calculated when the equivalent of the amount awarded exceeds EUR 100.
