Condition Note: Lined canvas. The surface is very thin and flat due to lining and cleaning; pressed craquelure visible on the flesh-colored areas; clean varnish. Under ultraviolet light: a vertical repaired tear of approximately 12 inches near the right edge and a shorter one right below; further repairs and inpainting below the signature, on the fruit bowl and along the upper edge; fine craquelure filling on face and chest.
