HENRY HAMMOND GALLISON (American, 1850-1910) NEW ENGLAND HOMESTEAD. Oil on canvas summer scene shows a two-half story Colonial home with three barns. A large rock wall lines the driveway. Below the farm and in the foreground is a stream with sandy and rock banks. Signed lower right "H H Gallison 91". Scene is under gray skies. Housed in a modern gilt molded wood frame with gesso leaf decoration having an artist plaque. Back stretcher retaining its original Frost & Adams label. SIZE: 17-1/2" x 25".
