Description

Original Color Etching signed in Pencil by the Artist Henry George Walker, 1876-1932. English Country Village. Walker was born in the Birchfield district of Birmingham, England, and attended Birmingham Municipal School of Art between 1897 and 1901. He owned his own design studio in 1907 and was successful as an etcher and produced many polychrome and monochrome etchings in the early 1920s until the etching fad receded during the Depression. In the late 1920s, he began to concentrate on pen and ink. With cream mat measures 14"x12". Weight 5 oz.
