back of the frame.
Oil on panel, 9 1/4 x 6 1/2 in. (22.3 x 16.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Restored hairline crack to panel u.c., scattered retouch, fine craquelure.

Provenance: A copy of a hand-written receipt from Art Best, Marché Dauphine, Paris, accompanies the lot.

Condition Report

Condition of painting is as stated. The crack extends from the center down to the middle of the panel. Scattered minor retouching particularly along that crack and around the edge where the frame abuts the painting. Frame with scattered, minor chipped losses (some reglued) and cracks. Lower right corner joint with minor separation.
