Notes

Royal Banker Heinrich Lorenz Frölich was appointed Director of the Danish National Bank in 1856. He lived at 81 Store Kongensgade, Copenhagen, and married a member of the de Coninck family, also from Store Kongensgade. According to Torben Holck Colding, this miniature was painted in 1813.
