Provenance: Kimberley Art Private Collection, Vic Sold with original gallery documentation Lajibine country with its big hills is on Gnargooroon, Hectors name for Texas Downs Station. In the middle is Horse Creek Waterfall from which the family would throw the crushed leaves of the Mamunji tree in to the pool below. The poison would stun fish, which floated to the surface for easy capture.
