Hector Chundaloo Jardany was one of the most significant Kimberly Aboriginal artists.
The painting is an aspect of Ngarrgooroon country, the artist's ancestors' country. A major feature of the work is depicted as a central overhang that fell upon and killed many people. Hector Chundaloo Jardany uses earth tones, controlled use of color and geometry to define the myths and legends of Narranguny Dreamtime.
