* Heckroth (Hein, 1901-1970). The Tales of Hoffmann, c. 1951, two gouache on paper scene designs, signed & captioned to lower edge, 28.5 x 38.5cm (11.25 x 15.25ins), includes one framed & glazed. Hein Heckroth was a German born painter and theatre designer, who is particularly noted for his Oscar winning designs for the 1948 feature film The Red Shoes (see next lot).. (2)
