Harry Mintz, (American, b. 1909), oil on canvas on a country landscape. Measuring approx. 24" x 20". Signed and dated in lower right as shown. Unframed, measuring approx. 20" x 24" (note losses/small tear in upper right, see photos). Formal training: Cleveland School of Art. Harry Mintz (c. 1907–2002) was a Polish-American painter. He was born in Ostrowiec ... United States, and practiced his painting in Chicago and Los Angeles. Mintz taught at the Art Institute of Chicago and Washington University in St. Louis. This one of his early works at the age young age of 28. See photos.
