Description

Indiana Dunes, c. 1922; oil/canvas, 36" x 48", imperfections, signed and dated. Osgood studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and in Paris, at the Academie Julian and Colarossi. He was a member of the Chicago Society of Artists, and painted in Brown County for several years. This is the finest work we have seen by this artist, and highly desirable subject matter.
