Note:
Harold M. Camp also exhibited his paintings at the 1915 San Francisco Panama Pacific International Exposition (PPIE). A world's fair held for nearly a year, the PPIE commemorated the completion of the Panama Canal, the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the Pacific by the explorer Balboa, and the revitalization of its host city after the 1906 earthquake and fire. Among its attractions, the PPIE exhibited both international and American artwork. For many local artists, the Exposition offered their first opportunity for greater recognition.
