H. BOYLSTON DUMMER (American, 1878-1945) MAINE LOGGING.Oil on canvas scene shows three loggers working logs down a rapid river. Two are seen on edge of river with poles and a logger with wool jacket and hat is seen riding a log while balancing with a long pole. Signed lower right. Back of canvas is written "Painted by H. Boylston Dummer Mrs. H. Boylston Dummer". Housed in a wide silver molded wood frame. SIZE: 25" x 30". CONDITION: Very good. 9-91292
