*Gregorio Guglielmi (1714-1773) king solomon receiving the queen of sheba. Signed and dated: Guglielmvs Fecit. Neapolis 1744 in brown and gold and inscribed: SOLIMENA inuen. Gouache on vellum. 429 by 591mm. Provenance: An Austrian private collection. This is a copy after a large canvas by Francesco Solimena, one of four canvases commissioned in 1723 by Vittorio Amadeo II of Savoy for the Palazzo Reale, Turin, and now in the Galleria Sabauda, Turin.
