Framed Oil on Canvas Monterey Farm Landscape with Bob White by Gorman Woody (1907-2000). Gorman Woody was born in Kansas in 1907. At an early age he moved with his family to Colorado, then on to Santa Cruz, California where he remained for most of the remainder of his life. Gorman graduated from Santa Cruz High in 1925. He took a painting course at the Famous Artists School in New England and then returned home. He became a prolific painter of Monterey Peninsula scenes. A member of the Santa Cruz Art League, he exhibited at numerous galleries and shows on the Monterey Peninsula. In frame measures 24x16x 1.50". Weight is 2 pds
