RARE, IMPORTANT, Chinese Qing Dynasty dry leaf painting and gilt calligraphy expandable hard-covered book. Consist of three page Chinese calligraphy inscriptions and a delicate paintings on a dry leaf. A Buddhist compassion Sutra, with illustration of Guanyin Bodhisattvas manifestation, the Multi-armed standing Avalokiteshvara. The text arranged in standard form reading from right to left in KaiShu (regular script), All reserved in gilt calligraphy on contrast cobalt-blue paper. Matted on pale-creme borders with grayish-teal silk hardcover.
