Notes

In Bettison's work he has more or less reinvented the ancient Venetian tradition of incorporating murrine into glass vessels along with the Bullseye Glass Company in Portland, Oregon, USA. The semi-transparency of the glass looks like the vessels have been lit from within and give a three dimensional feel to his patterns. His inspiration comes from the landscape and colours of the South Australian landscape.
