GILBERT TUCKER MARGESON (American, 1852-1949) TWO COASTAL SCENES. 1) Oil on board shows a lobsterman in small open boat pulling up a lobster trap. A point of land is seen with lighthouse and several sailboats. Signed lower left "GT Margeson". Housed in its original white painted molded wood frame. Back of board has Hatfield's Color Shop label. SIZE: 12" x 16". CONDITION: Good, some pencil sketch lines are visible. 2) Unsigned oil on board shoreline scene of crashing waves onto rocks with seagulls and sailboat. Same Hatfield Color Shop label to reverse. Housed in a gilt molded wood frame. SIZE: 11" x 14". CONDITION: Fair with surface dirt. 9-74367 SM
