SMITH, Gilbert Haven, (American, 1882-1959): "Road in Shaftsbury, Vermont", (Down the Low Road, Dorset Hollow), Oil/Canvas, 18 1/8" x 20 1/4", signed lower right, titled two separate times on the stretcher, dated 1954, faux bamboo gilded frame with wear, 22 1/2" x 28".

Needs to be restretched, scattered flecks with abrasions and paint loss.
