Dedicated, signed, and dated "...Stanton Forbes...Germán Cueto/
Mex. 26 Agosto de 1953" on the reverse.
Oil with wooden bead on shaped canvas, 13 5/8 x 6 x 5 3/4 in. (34.6 x 15.3 x 14.6 cm), unframed.
Condition: Creases, surface breaks, paint losses, craquelure, surface grime.

N.B. The work is dedicated to W. Stanton Forbes (1912-1989). From 1950 to 1953 Forbes studied History of Art and Applied Arts at Mexico City College under Justino Fernandez, Lola and German Cueto, and Enrique Climent.
