Gerald Paul Stinski (1929-2015) "Ribboned Pear" still life oil on board. Incredibly realistic pear with white ribbon and butterflies. Professionally framed by the gallery in a gilt wood frame with taupe velvet liner. Measures 14"x10"x1". Weight 1 pd 8 oz. Gerald Stinski was born and raised in the Lake Winnebago region of Wisconsin. A self taught artist, he is recognized as one of America's leading painters of Trompe l'oeil realism specializing in still life fruit and flowers. From his first one man shows in Atlanta in the late 50's, he has exhibited one-man shows in London, Amsterdam, Beverly Hills, Carmel, Palm Desert, Santa Fe, Naples, FL, San Francisco and also at Panache in Mendocino.
