TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

A 16.5% Buyers Premium (GST inclusive) applies to all lots sold.

The highest bidder shall be the purchaser. In the event of a dispute arising, at the auctioneer’s discretion, the lot shall be put up again and resold, the auctioneer’s decision being final.

All lots are open for inspection prior to the sale, and are sold with all faults, if any. No error or misdescription shall invalidate the sale and the purchaser is bound to take delivery of the goods without allowance or reduction in price.

The auctioneers reserve the right to accept or refuse any bid or bids without having to state any reason or reasons therefore, and to bid on behalf of the vendor or any prospective buyer with or without disclosure.

All goods lie at the purchasers risk after the fall of the hammer – all due care shall be taken by our staff but we are not accountable for any damage or loss which may arise thereafter.

Upon payment of an invoice, goods may be delivered during the sale. All goods must be paid for and picked up by the purchaser by 4pm on the working day following the sale day. Any goods not removed by the allotted time will incur a storage charge of $5.00 per lot per day plus handling fees at the auctioneer’s discretion.

TERMS: Prompt payment for goods by Cash, Credit Card (Mastercard and Visa Card only), Direct Debit (EFTPOS) or Cheque by prior arrangement for new buyers (minimum of 1 week). All lots purchased are to be paid for before delivery of any one or more lots. When demanded by the auctioneer, a 25% deposit shall be paid by the purchaser.

In the event of non-compliance with any of the above terms and conditions, any monies paid by the purchaser shall be absolutely forfeited, and the goods may be resold, through auction or by any other means, without notification, at the risk and expense of the former purchaser. The purchaser shall be liable for any loss that may arise on such resale.

In these conditions the words ‘Auctioneer’ or ‘Auctioneers’ means Raffan Kelaher & Thomas Pty Limited and where the context so permits this includes the person actually conducting the auction sale on behalf of Raffan Kelaher & Thomas Pty Limited.

Credit Cards

We accept credit cards for payment for any winning online bidders at all sales. We require credit card information to bid, and may use it for payment if you are the winning bidder.
