Description

Calotype negative, attached to a paper cover. Titled in pencil on the reverse of the cover sheet. Inscribed in pencil on the reverse 'B.15 25th Jan 1851 - 2 pyramids - 3½ / [3½ minutes ?] 11½ am'. These inscriptions initialled illegibly. The reverse further numbered '15' in ink in the same discreet hand as appears on other Bridges calotype negatives in the present sale.
