Notes

Boyce makes a reference to this watercolour in his diary, 12^th April 1875, 'Took to O.W.C. Gallery : Old Building at Kingswear'. The picture was very well reviewed in this exhibition, which also included At Dunster, West Somerset (Private collection) which was included at the Boyce exhibitions in 1923 and 1987 at the Tate Gallery (now Tate Britain).
