The Carpenter Family at Their Home on the Hudson
Signed and dated "G. Harvey 1873" l.r., identified on a label affixed to the
reverse.
Watercolor on paper, sight size 10 x 8 in., framed.
Condition: Toning, staining, extremely small tear u.r.
Provenance: Descended within the Carpenter family.
N.B. According to the label, the image depicts Mr. and Mrs. Azariah Carpenter and their sons, Fred, Herbert, and Charles, at their home at Sing Sing (now Ossining) on the Hudson River.

Condition Report

The work is adhered with the front mat with tape (masking or similar) on the reverse. The sheet measures approximately 12 x 10 in. Pencil inscription on the reverse reads "Carpenters"
