George Gunther Hartwick (American, 1817-1899) oil on canvas landscape painting, a forest scene with trees and brush in front of a small pond, a herd of 5 deer can be seen in the lower left. Signed "G. Hartwick, NY", canvas has been laid on a Masonite board, has 2 spots of inpainting above the deer and some restoration along the edges. 15.75" high x 19.75" wide. Frame: 21.5" high x 25.5" wide. Weight: 8.75 lbs.
