Lot 1037: George A Mock Indiana Winter Landscape Oil/Board

George Andrew Mock (American, 1886-1958), "Late Afternoon" winter landscape, oil on board; 23 1/4" x 27 1/4"; signed lower left. 1946 Hoosier Salon exhibition label verso. Mock was born in Muncie, IN and later went on to study at the Art Institute of Chicago. Upon his return to Indiana, he made frequent painting trips to Brown County.
