The canvas has been relined. There is a minor spot of paint flaking towards the lower left corner and along the top framing edge towards the left corner, and a pattern of hairline craquelure, notably in the sky to the left, which could benefit from stabilisation. Ultra-violet light reveals scattered spots of retouching and extended areas which fluorescence quite opaquely and could be related to old residual varnish. The picture is in otherwise good condition. Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
