Antique oil painting on canvas of a US soldier on horseback gesturing with his flask to a Native American warrior on horse. Signed & dated ‘03. Unframed, 19 x 26 in. (Gean Smith 1851-1928 was a painter and illustrator. He earned a reputation for horse portraits, although he also did dog paintings & Civil War genre General Grant and His Staff at Fort Donelson.)
