Notes

This scence takes place in the southern end of the Galerie des Glaces, just in front of the passage leading to the Salon de la Paix. The ceiling painting depicts Charles Lebrun's La Hollande accepte la paix et se d étache de l'Allemagne et de l'Espangne, the last painting in his series of works that symbolize the achievements of Louis XV.
