GASSLANDER, KARL (1905-1996 American) Pentacles, unframed oil on canvas, image 72" x 48", from the estate of Karl Gasslander from Evanston, IL, who was a WPA artist, exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Evanston Women's Club, and other venues during the 1930's-1950's, bears remains of very old, very worn exhibition tag from the Evanston Women's Club verso.

Poor, needs major restoration, four tears in the canvas, needs cleaning, loss to section of canvas on left center edge.
