Description

Frederick Grant (1886-1959) studied painting under John Vanderpoel at the Art Institute of Chicago, where he would later exhibit. When in Paris and Venice, he also studied with William Merritt Chase. He became known for his oils and watercolors of landscapes and still-lifes.
