Please note that the painting is not framed.

Lined, with stable craquelure overall. Retouch as follows: dots to the face, primarily to the forehead and under the proper left eye, with a few more dots along the upper lip; two lines of retouch located in the l.l. quadrant in the left side of the fan and to the left of the fan, the first one being a sideways J- shape measuring 6 inches across and 3-1/2 inches down, and the second being a 4-inch horizontal line located above the first repair; three round spots to the l.r. corner, the largest measuring 1-1/4 inch diameter, the smallest 1/2 inch diameter; possible old retouch to the shadows of the proper left hand.
