The copper plates are flat and stable, laid down onto modern wooden panels. The paintings have been fairly recently cleaned and restored and are in excellent condition. There are minor discoloured spot retouchings to both pictures but ultraviolet light does not reveal any other intervention. These pictures will not require any further attention. Offered in a pair of parcel gilt and painted plaster frames with numerous losses.
